Community Living

1. Contact our Admissions Contact Centre on 1800 778 767.

2. Let us know what support you’re looking for; we’ll discuss your options, answer your questions, and connect you with the Australian Government’s My Aged Care service to organise assessments and apply for government subsidies (if available to you). We can even come to your home to help with this, free of charge.

3. Complete the My Aged Care assessment process and nominate St Vincent’s Care Services as your preferred provider.

4. Work with your dedicated Community Living Co-ordinator to develop a personalised support plan, with the combination of services that’s right for you and your budget.

How much does it cost?

It’s hard to say how much your personalised support will cost, as everyone’s needs and interests are different — and you may or may not be eligible for government subsidies.

How much the government may ask you to contribute depends on your circumstances and is determined by income and health assessments, known as Aged Care Assessment Team or ACAT assessments.

Our services are also available on a fee-for-service basis.

Independent Living

Apartments in our independent living communities are managed directly by St Vincent's Care Services through a Licence to Occupy agreement. When you take up residence with us, you pay an ingoing fee which equates to the purchase cost of the unit and gives you a right to licence and reside in the apartment. You also pay a small daily fee (similar to a body corporate fee) which covers maintenance and services.

Experience one of our vibrant and friendly Independent Living communities for yourself, call us on 1800 778 767 to book a tour.

Residential Living

Our residential aged care services are paid for privately or subsidised by the federal government. Fee structure depends on your circumstances and whether you are eligible for government support. This is determined by income and health assessments conducted by the Australian Government, through the My Aged Care service.

We understand the system can be complex, and are pleased to help you navigate the process to get the best outcome. Our dedicated and knowledgeable admissions team step you through organising assessments, applying for government subsidies (if available to you), and selecting the right location and level of service — all at no cost to you.
