How to access our care & accommodation

To access our accommodation, you will need be at least 65 years old and have an ACAT assessment completed.

You will need to talk to your GP to organise an ACAT assessment to seek approval for respite care in a residential care setting. Often there is a waiting period for assessments but your GP should be able to push through an emergency assessment for you.

We ask for an ACAT assessment so we can offer you heavily subsidised accommodation and a discount rate.

Once you have your ACAT assessment you will be required to get in touch with our Admission Coordinator who will organise the rest for you.

How much does it cost?

The only cost to you for accommodation is the Basic Daily Care Fee which is currently $58.98 per night (as at March 2023) . It is affordable because it is a subsidised amount if you have an ACAT assessment for respite care.

This amount covers your accommodation costs, food, laundry, access to on site amenities, free partner accommodation and more!
