The doors explained

COVID-19 restrictions and directives change often, so St Vincent's Care Services has introduced a 'coloured door' system to indicate the latest status of each home.

The different ‘doors’ indicate each home’s current status and what the different directives mean for our residents, our employees and their family members and friends.

MEDIUM RESTRICTIONS

MAXIMUM RESTRICTIONS

Minor Restrictions

Applies in most areas of low or no community transmission rates. The Aged Care home is permitted to have visitors and residents are able to leave their home. Online bookings will be open.

Medium Restrictions

Due to growing cases in the area/state, an exposure or a lockdown in some areas of the home, the Aged Care home will be in restricted access. Only essential visitors are able to visit areas in lockdown, visits may continue to other areas with additional precautions.

Maximum Restrictions

Applies when an employee or resident has tested positive for COVID-19. The Aged Care home will be locked down, all employees and affected residents will be COVID tested, and only essential visitors are able to visit the site.
